Community: From field trips to local boathouses, to nationwide competition, the ERG ED® Community provides exciting, enriching, and life-changing opportunities for all students!

Erg Ed Brings Rowing into the Classroom

ERG ED® launched in 2010 in three Seattle Middle Schools. By 2014, ERG ED® was an integrated part of the standard physical education curriculum for all Seattle Public School students in Middle and K-8 schools – this was just the beginning.

Through partnerships with school districts and boathouses across the country, the ERG ED® program is leading a large-scale, systemic change in how young people access the sport of rowing.

Today, ERG ED® serves an estimated 50,000 students annually across the United States
